Learning Targets - Students will be able to...

- Describe and compare biological, behavioral, cognitive, and sociocultural perspectives

- Summarize the evolution of modern psychological perspectives

Opener:  How do a person's individual experiences affect behavior?

Activity #1:  Find your "4 of a Kind" group.  Create a 2-3 minute skit that highlights the approach your group has been assigned.  In this skit you should include dialog and actions that help other students clarify the difference between your assigned approach and others.

Activity#2:  Following each group's performance, their classmates provide a critical review according to the criteria below.

- How clear was the storyline?

- How convincing were the actors?

- What other scenarios might be effective in demonstrating this particular psychological approach?
